Hello!

Krista Shalda is the Executive Director and founder of We Belong. Krista’s work as an Autism and IDD resource consultant, advocate and community navigator highlights the need for a program after school that brings families peace of mind. She also leads diversity, equity and inclusion workshops to guide organizations to challenge their understanding of neurodiversities and develop better ways of relating to each other and those they serve. She is excited to bring this background to We Belong. Most importantly, she is the mother of two boys with sensory needs who is passionate about turning her trials of navigating system inequities into triumphs for creating belonging in our community.
